About Me
Hello! I'm Asier, a Software Engineer living at this moment in Lille, France. Curiosity in general, history and human behavior are some of the topics I decide to spend my free time on.
About my professional career: While I was finishing my studies of Computer Sciences and Business Management at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) and staying in 2018 Technological University of Tampere (TUT) in Finland, I joined the Software Engineering team at MasMovil, a very fast-growing company that has entered during the last years into the strong and competitive telecom industry in Spain.
I've worked on a wide variety of interesting and meaningful projects on a daily basis, as a DevOps Intern, Big Data Engineer or Java Developer after it.

Where I’ve Worked
Big Data Engineer @ Ultra Tendency
August 2021 - Present
- Developing big data solutions for the European Central Bank and and the German automotive industry.
- SPACE Project (European Central Bank) – October 2021 to Present. Developing multiple solutions in the QA Team for a large and crazy project. People from all over Europe worked in a new statistical system for ECB. Using Python Notebooks with PyTest lib.
- HUK-Coburg – September to December 2021. Developing a real time crash notification system from customers. Using Kafka consumers and producers, HBase connections, SOAP and REST Endpoints.
- Tools used: Java language for a Dev team, Python Jupyter Notebooks for testing purposes.

A personal project we tried. It consisted of a new disruptive payment method system where any physical payment could also be done with our face palms. We created an Android App in Flutter (ByPay).
